- This Analytical scientist position will be required to conduct studies for the separation, identification, and quantification of the chemical components of natural and synthetic materials
- Quantitative analysis of the components using state of the art techniques is required
- The candidate will prepare reports, maintain a notebook, help prepare presentations and publications and present results in internal forums
- The candidate should be well versed in analytical chemistry, particularly in liquid chromatography (HPLC, GPC) with relevant experience
- Additional knowledge in other areas of analytical chemistry, such as NMR, FTIR, MS, etc., would also be desirable
- The applicant will have the ability to effectively communicate and work in a team
- Qualified candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to originate, design, execute and report on relevant experiments as well as establishment and improvement
- Maintaining lab and facilities in accordance to safety requirements
- The maintenance and trouble-shooting of relevant equipment and software of the relevant analytical methodologies
