- We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our in vivo studies in pre-clinical models of rheumatoid arthritis
- Weekend work may be required
- Primary responsibilities include:
- Administration of drugs and experimental compounds by various routes
- Blood and tissue collection
- Scoring of study animals
- Ex vivo assays
- Ability to learn and conduct other animal-related techniques
- Maintain well-organized records and documentation.
- Data entry
- OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED
- THE START DATE WILL BE NO SOONER THAN JAN. 3, 2011
- ASSIGNMENT MAY BE EXTENDED BUT WILL GO NO MORE THAN ONE YEAR IN LENGTH
- 1-3 years of experience with Cell/Tissue Culture
- Successful candidate should have a B.S. or M.S. in a science-related field and experience working with small laboratory animals (rodents, mice and rats only)
- Experience with animal models is desirable. In addition, the ideal candidate will perform ex vivo bioassays such as cytokine and autoantibody quantification by ELISA
- Candidate should possess good organizational and communication skills, ability to focus attention to details, and a high degree of flexibility
- Experienced working collaboratively with other team members to accomplish project goals
