- The qualified candidate will operate in the bio-analytical R&D organization to enable development of biological therapeutics
- The candidate will be responsible for being proficient in a subset of the following analytical methodologies: HPLC, LC/MS, proteolytic mapping and/or capillary electrophoresis
- The candidate may be responsible for developing, qualifying, troubleshooting and routinely performing these analytical techniques for diverse therapeutic proteins as well aiding with general lab maintenance
- In addition, the candidate is expected to tabulate/interpret data and prepare reports
- Attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills are essential to efficiently and effectively deliver quality results
- Resource Work Type: Analytical - protein/bioanalytical backgrounds preferred
- 3-5 years practical experience in a pharmaceutical or related analytical environment
- Degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry or a related discipline (i.e. molecular biology/biochemistry)
- Good understanding and basic knowledge of fundamental chemical concepts
- Good understanding and practical skills in modern analytical techniques, especially HPLC and Capillary Electrophoresis, and their applications
- Evidence of ability to identify and solve problems, making decisions from limited alternatives, can operate with autonomy
- Understanding of GLP/GMP and safety
- Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint software
- Experience with client server based data acquisition software a plus
- Analytical Techniques Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
- Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
- High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
- LC Mass Spectrometry Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
- Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
