Collegeville, PA - Business Analyst

Job Description:
  • Elicit and document the clients’ current and future state business process for the requested technology solution.
  • Gather business, user, and functional requirements.
  • Develop wireframes and supporting artifacts to further clarify the requirements of the desired system
  • Lead JAD sessions with the development team and clients
  • Serve as an application SME to the development and testing team
  • Review test strategy and test cases to ensure proper requirements coverage.
  • Manage requirements change controls throughout the design, build, test, and deploy phases.
  • Perform product demos of the application to the client
  • Ensure requirements align with technology roadmap and leverage reusable components where applicable.
  • Assist the program manager is Project Management related activities
  • Manage project timelines and schedule
  • Ability to work with clients to proactively identify high-quality business and user requirements that accurately describe the problem or gap that the technology solution will address
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Project Plan Execution/Task Management   Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
  • PMP - Project Management Professional   Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
  • Undergraduate Degree   Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
  • Excellent   Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
  • Microsoft Visio Desired 1-3 Years Advanced
  • Knowledge of internet/intranet web-based technologies and architectures
  • Pharmaceutical Experience is not required but would be a plus (Pfizer Experience is a plus)
  • Knowledge of business assessment tools
  • Business cases and/or cost/benefit
  • Current state analysis/needs assessments
  • Knowledge of business modeling tools such as process and workflow modeling
  • Skilled user of office productivity tools
  • Exceptional knowledge of Word and Visio
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of test strategies, test plans, and test execution including validation
  • Basic understanding of quality user interface design
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective meeting facilitator
  • Customer focused  with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with others in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Ability to document functional requirements, participate in activities working with the technical teams to effectively translate business and user requirements into functional requirements
  • Experience with estimating requirements analysis efforts
  • Clear and effective writer and documenter
  • Ability to think critically
  • Ability to manage own work
