- The Sales Planner reports directly into the Director of Sales Planning and is responsible for creating and delivering sales proposals in a time-sensitive manner
- He/She will build strategically-oriented proposals that leverage all available assets and take into consideration inventory scarcity and value
- The Sales Planner will interface daily with cross-functional department teams including Sales, Ad Products, Ad Operations, Edit, Client Services and Research to pull together media plans and assets for significant pitch work to achieve measurable sales results
- Work with Sales to respond to inbound RFPs and meet the needs of specific clients and of the marketplace at large Generate ideas and bring creative ideas to the online media planning process
- Have a passion for digital advertising, understand industry trends, maintain expert knowledge of the interactive
- Collaborate with the Ad Operations team to effectively manage the pre-sold inventory
- Effectively communicate and prioritize market demand in order to impact advertising product development and pricing
- Craft solutions that deliver on client needs utilizing a mix of off-the shelf, repurposed solutions and custom offerings
- Position is a Full Time Contractor
- Minimum 1-2 Years of Digital Media Planning or Agency experience required
- Firm understanding of key elements of digital advertising including display, email, search, Rich Media and knowledge of digital creative trends
- Must be able to translate product features into advertiser benefits and develop well positioned media recommendations framed within the context of client objective
- Solid grasp of online media, trade marketing, sales cycles and measurement
- Demonstrated media planning skills; experience in ad serving applications including DoubleClick DART, Dart Sales Manager and DoubleClick Media Visor a plus
